To find out what your bike is worth, look to see what other similar sellers are pricing their bike at. Then maybe check out some second hand bike buyer's guides.

Never let someone test ride your bike on their own, you should always accompany them where possible. Or you could demonstrate the bike yourself.

If the buyer tries to knock the price down don't get offended, even if the price offered is very low. Have in mind, a figure as a bottom line and come back with a counter offer, above your bottom line price. If you are struggling to sell, be prepared to lower your price, because it may be overpriced.
